Fortnite Crew is Epic's monthly subscription. For one monthly price you get 800 V-Bucks every month, the Battle Pass for every season you're subscribed, the Music and LEGO passes, and an exclusive Crew Pack with a new outfit and matching items each month. How the calculator decides if Crew is worth it
- Each part you tick gets a value in V-Bucks. Monthly parts (the V-Bucks and the Crew Pack) count every month; passes count once per season and are spread over its months.
- The V-Bucks are turned into money at the rate of the smallest V-Bucks pack, because that's what you'd pay buying a little at a time instead of subscribing.
- The total is compared with the Crew price. If what you'd use is worth more than you pay, Crew is worth it for you.
Monthly value = monthly V-Bucks + Crew Pack + (passes ÷ months per season), in money
Who Crew suits, and who it doesn't
- Worth it: you buy the Battle Pass every season and spend some V-Bucks each month anyway. The pass plus the monthly V-Bucks already cover most of the price, and the Crew Pack is a bonus.
- Maybe: you like the Crew Pack outfits. Their value is personal; set it to what you would actually pay for them.
- Not worth it: you only play now and then, or you finish the Battle Pass and use its V-Bucks for the next one. A completed pass gives back the V-Bucks it cost, so buying it once can keep you going for free.
